2 mechanically-controlled horizontal blinds with custom vinyl prints

Aluminium, polymorph, rotating motors, Arduino Uno, relay board

​

particulate is composed of a pair of horizontal blinds, mechanically programmed to open and shut at timed intervals in various sequences of movement. This dialogue of motion serves to interrupt the flow of light into the room, while simultaneously completing and disrupting two images on either side of the blinds.
