Window encased in vinyl tarp, outfitted with programmed LED lights
Two site-specific kinetic works cohabit the space of the gallery, activating it through gestures of light and sound. Channelling dualities of breath (ebb and flow) as well as transition (here and there), the works sweep and pulse through time and space to create a gradually morphing, meditative experience.
Shown at Pneuma: Of Spirituality in a Contemporary Age, part of Singapore Art Week 2020.
Membrane was shown as single-channel video work at Algorithmic Random Selected AV Exhbition, part of Internationales Digitalkunst Festival in Stuttgart, Germany and Experimental shorts, Aliwal Arts Centre in Singapore.
