Printed scrolls, microcontrollers, servo-controlled rollers, mechanical arms​
 

mármaron takes inspiration from ancient inscriptions of myths on marble to preserve age-old stories. Digitised scans of stones taken from the Greek island of Paros, historically known for its white marble, are printed on scrolls and draped across the space. This creates a landscape of geological artefacts and digital facsimiles. Against this backdrop, exploring acts of mechanical reproduction, print rollers and robotic arms sprawl and twitch repeatedly performing a vicious or virtuous ritual.

The first iteration of the mechanical roller was developed in collaboration with artist Bruno Ruiz.
